Future Bedding & Furniture — Refund, Return & Exchange Policy
At Future Bedding & Furniture, we take pride in providing tomorrow’s comfort today. Because furniture and bedding are major personal investments, we enforce a strict policy regarding returns and exchanges to maintain high hygiene and manufacturing standards. By making a purchase on our online store or at our physical branches, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. No Cash or Card Refunds
- Future Bedding & Furniture operates on a strict No Refunds policy for all online and in-store purchases.
- Once an item has been purchased, paid for, or delivered, it cannot be returned for a cash, card, or electronic refund.
2. Product Exchanges (Unopened Items Only)
If you receive your item and feel that it is not what you wanted or expected, you may request an exchange for an alternate item under the following strict conditions:
- Sealed Packaging: The item must remain completely sealed in its original, unopened plastic packaging or box. If a mattress, base, or lounge suite has been unwrapped, used, or slept on, it can no longer be exchanged due to strict health and hygiene regulations.
- Notification Window: You must notify the specific branch/shop that fulfilled and executed your delivery within 7 days of receiving the goods to request an exchange.
- Price Differences: If you exchange your product for an item of higher value, you must pay the difference before delivery.
3. Inspection Process for Exchanges & Claims
- To initiate an exchange or raise a quality concern, the customer must contact the original shop/branch from which the delivery was dispatched.
- Future Bedding & Furniture will arrange for a formal on-site inspection of the goods to verify their condition (ensuring they are still pristine and sealed) before any exchange can be approved.
- Please allow up to two (2) weeks for our team to evaluate your claim and conduct the necessary inspections.
4. Manufacturer Warranties & Guarantees
Every mattress, base, and furniture piece sold by Future Bedding is backed by a manufacturer’s warranty against defective workmanship or materials.
- Warranty Coverage: The specific duration and terms of your coverage are indicated directly on your product’s warranty card received at purchase.
- Guarantee Period: Claims raised during the initial manufacturer’s guarantee period will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer for parts/labor.
- Warranty Period: Claims raised after the guarantee period has expired will be subject to a pro-rata charge calculated by the manufacturer.
- Exclusion of Transport Costs: All manufacturer warranties and guarantees specifically exclude transport and collection costs. Any logistics costs involved in moving a defective item back to the branch or warehouse for inspection, repair, or replacement must be borne entirely by the customer.
- Proof of Purchase Required: No warranty actions, inspections, or adjustments will be undertaken unless the customer produces the original invoice/document received upon delivery. Claims without an original invoice are completely invalid.
5. Specific Warranty Exclusions
Warranties apply only to manufacturing defects and strictly do not cover:
- Normal body impressions on mattresses measuring less than 4cm.
- Comfort or firmness preferences after the item has been unwrapped and used.
- Clearances items, items sold “as-is”, display stock, or floor models.
- Damage caused during transit if transport was arranged independently by the client.
- Accidental damage or abuse (including but not limited to stains, liquid spillage causing foam collapse, burns, jumping on beds, or inadequate foundation support from weak or improper bed frames).
