Future Bedding & Furniture — Terms & Conditions of Use and Sale

Last Updated: August 6, 2026

Welcome to the Future Bedding & Furniture online store. These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (the Customer) and Future Bedding & Furniture (the Company). By accessing this website, registering an account, or making a purchase online or in-store, you unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are prohibited from using this website and must discontinue use immediately.
1. General Conditions & Pricing
  • Pricing & Tax: All prices displayed on our website are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and include 15% Value Added Tax (VAT).
  • Errors & Omissions Excepted (E&OE): We make every effort to ensure accuracy; however, we reserve the right to correct pricing typographical errors or stock anomalies at any time. If an item is mistakenly mispriced, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a store credit.
  • Product Variations: Fabric patterns, textures, and quilting designs cannot be guaranteed to perfectly match showroom display models or digital product images, as manufacturers update textile batches frequently. Price variations on raw materials may affect future catalog updates.

2. Ownership & Financial Terms
  • Retention of Title: Legal ownership of all items, goods, beds, or furniture pieces remains the sole property of Future Bedding & Furniture until paid for completely and in full.
  • Non-Payment Penalties: In the event of default, non-payment, or failed electronic transactions, the customer shall bear the full cost of all legal, administrative, and collection expenses incurred by the Company to recover the goods.
  • Special & Custom Orders: A non-refundable deposit is payable immediately on all special, non-standard, or custom furniture configurations. Once manufacturing begins, special orders cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded.

3. Lay-Bye Agreements
  • Lay-Bye Period: All standard lay-bye agreements must be settled in full within the pre-determined monthly period specified at the time of purchase.
  • Price Adjustment Adjustments: If the agreed lay-bye period is exceeded by the customer, the original display price is nullified, and the total cost is subject to change based on prevailing market inflation or stock adjustments.
  • Documentation Rule: No modifications, cancellations, updates, or releases of lay-bye stock will be processed unless the customer provides the original physical invoice document to the branch.

4. Shipping, Transport & Branch Collection
  • Local Delivery Flat Rate: We offer a flat-rate delivery charge of R500.00 strictly limited to designated local operational zones. Long-distance deliveries outside our normal branch radii are subject to custom logistical quotes.
  • In-Store Collection: Customers may opt to bypass the transit fee by selecting Collect from Branch (Free). When using independent transit or collecting yourself, the Company is not liable for items damaged during transit once they leave our loading bays.
  • Logistics Tracking: Customers can log into their secure online portal to review digital invoices, track shipment updates, and manage delivery profiles.

5. Alignment with Refund, Exchange & Warranty Policies
To maintain zero discrepancy across our legal framework, you explicitly acknowledge the following summaries from our sub-policies:
  • No Cash Refunds: Future Bedding & Furniture enforces a strict No Cash or Card Refunds policy for all online and physical store transactions.
  • Unopened Exchanges Only: Exchanges are only permitted if an item is completely sealed inside its original, unopened plastic manufacturing film. Opened or used bedding cannot be exchanged due to strict public health and hygiene regulations.
  • On-Site Inspections: All product quality evaluations require up to two (2) weeks for inspection by the dispatching branch.
  • Warranty Transport Exclusions: Manufacturer warranties cover structural defects but specifically exclude all transport and logistics costs. All collection or transit fees involved in moving a mattress or base back to a factory or branch for repair must be covered entirely by the client. An original invoice is mandatory to validate any warranty or guarantee claim.

6. Account Security & Privacy Protection
  • In compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), customer profiles, delivery coordinates, and transaction summaries are stored securely on encrypted Hostinger infrastructure.
  • You are solely responsible for protecting your account credentials. The company will never request your login password under any circumstances.
